Wedding Photography & Wedding Film
Well as we wave goodbye to September and welcome in October its time to start updating our blog after what’s been a brilliant month.
So lets begin and rewind to the to beginning of the the month – Adam & Hayley’s wedding day at Packington Moor. The barn wedding venue located on a working farm near Lichfield, Staffordshire oozes character and rustic charm, run by a brilliant team from the venue and Galloping Gourmet, we look forward to every visit.
As morning preparations got into full swing, at Hayley’s family home in Rowley Regis, our videographer Martin and myself flitted between rooms documenting the goings on. Whilst on the other side of the city, Chris had joined Adam and family at his aunties house as their day began with a champagne breakfast before heading on to Packington to get ready.
Whilst Adam and his groom party readied in Walters Cottage, before disappearing with Chris deep into the farm for some relaxed portraits, incorporating some of the rustic charm and character of the venue, guests then began to arrive as service time approached.
The bridal party arrived with Hayley and her Dad in a Rolls Royce Primrose, by Celebration Wedding Cars.
As the last of their guests took there seats the Oat Barn doors opened, Hayley dressed in her stunning wedding dress from Blackburn Bridal Couture, London was accompanied down the isle by her Dad,
After a short ceremony, the couple made their way into the courtyard to enjoy their drinks reception and canapes, to the sound of Jodie Taylor harpist.
Guests then made their way outside the courtyard for confetti and a dove release (Wings of White) followed by a handful of small groups shots on the lawn.
Following time with family and friends we headed off with Hayley & Adam around the venue, utilising locations from the couples pre wedding shoot. The venue has an abundance of areas, we could have happily photographed for hours, but with meal time fast approaching we chose the gardens and wooded area. As we returned, the last of their guests were taking their seats in the Malt Barn to enjoy Leek & Potato Soup, Roast Beef concluding with vanilla cheesecake.
Following speeches by Hayley’s Dad – Paul, Adam and then his best man Michael the Malt Barn was vacated ahead of the evening reception, guests took the opportunity to enjoy the warm evening sunshine in the courtyard.
As more friends began to arrive the smell of the hog roast filled the air as the evening reception got underway. Mr & Mrs Pullen were soon making their way onto the dance floor and taking the applause of all their family and friends, as they made their way back into the Malt Barn for their first dance.
Adam & Hayley what a brilliant day, you really are a fantastic couple, its been an absolute pleasure to get to know you both and your day was perfect in every way.
Congratulations from all of us, it was a pleasure to photograph and film your wedding day. We wish you all the best for the future.
